Bhabin Dhungana is a singer, music composer, and a scholar of classical music from Nepal. He has recorded more than 2 dozen modern,Gazal folk-pop,patriotic,devotional and playback songs for movies and collection albums with one solo album to his name.He has performed in various national and international stages.He is a recipient of several awards and honours.
Born in sankhuwa-sabha district from Eastern Nepal, he was a passionate & active participant in musical activities since his childhood. His musical journey into professional music began when he bagged 3rd runner up with sur shakti award in Nepali Tara-1(Nepal’s first nationwide mega singing reality show broadcasted on Nepal Television ) in 2005 AD. His melodious & soothing voice texture has appealed to many audiences in Nepal as well as abroad. He is a classically trained vocalist.He graduated with a Masters in Music from University of Delhi, India. He received a gold medal from University of Delhi for securing highest marks in the same subject.
He has received extensive vocal music training from Mr. Prabhu Raj Dhakal, late Ambar Gurung and Prof. Ojesh Pratap Singh(University of Delhi,India).He also works as a faculty member in the Department of Vocal music,Fine Arts Campus,Tribhuvan University, located at Kathmandu, Nepal. He has been working as Advisor in Team Deep at The Voice of Nepal(Nepalese format of the international TV singing reality series called The Voice) . He is a recipient of several awards and honours.

· Award of University Post-Graduate Scholarship for the year 2009-11 from University of Delhi (Scholarships).
· Radio Kantipur ‘Hot shot of the year’ award- 2016
· Nominated for Best singer-Male (Music Khabar Music Award)-2016
· Contributed his voice in Melancholy, an environmental song by 365 Nepali artists which set in Guinness World Records.
